Here’s a quick look at the main steps of your treatment:

• You’ll meet with Dr. Boggan, who is a designated Invisalign Teen® provider, for a consultation and find out if  Invisalign Teen® is for you?
• We will take pictures and impressions of your teeth.
• Those pictures and impressions are digitized. Then, Dr. Boggan can use the 3D renderings to precisely plan your tooth movements from the beginning to the end of your treatment, in order to fix your orthodontic issue(s).
• Based on the precise treatment plan, aligners will be made to custom-fit your teeth. The number of aligners is different for each person.
• You’ll wear your aligners about 22 hours every day, except to eat, brush, and floss, or go to a special event.
• Approximately every two weeks, you’ll swap your old aligners for new ones. The aligners will gently and continuously move your teeth until they are in their final prescribed position, all without the usual hassle of metal braces.
  
  

• The aligners snap on your teeth easily.
• Invisalign Teen®  are comfortable and practically invisible.
• They gently and continuously move your teeth in small increments.
• They are worn for about two weeks. Then you swap them for a new pair.
• More reasons to smile. Because Invisalign Teen aligners are virtually invisible, you can smile all you want. Most likely, the only way people will know about your treatment is if you choose to tell them.
• A whole lot of reasons to say cheese! Invisalign is anFDA-cleared orthodontic treatment that has been chosen by nearly one million patients worldwide.
• Healthier pearly whites? Unlike with metal braces, the aligners can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, or going to a special event. That means fresh breath, as well as less chance of plaque, decay, and gum disease.
• Less bother. There’s no metal wires or brackets to poke, or tear your mouth and gums. Invisalign Teen® aligners are made of smooth plastic that custom-fit your teeth.
• An average treatment takes about a year*.
• You’re still changing so we did too. Different than regular Invisalign® aligners, Invisalign Teen® aligners allow for growing adult molars.
• The Blue Dot Wear Indicator provides an estimation of wear-time. The dot is designed to fade to clear over a two-week period if you wear your aligners properly. You should wear them 20 to 22 hours everyday.
• Don’t sweat it. If you lose an aligner, we give up to six, free, individual ones.
• The good news. The Invisalign Teen® system usually costs about the same as traditional and other clear braces.
• Another name isn’t the same. Be sure you’re getting Invisalign Teen ® clear aligners and not imposters. Make sure the aligners say Invisalign® on them.
